Welcome to the Advanced Computational Materials Engineering (ACME) Lab in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at The University of Alabama. The focus of our lab is the simulation of the micromechanical deformation response of metallic alloys to gain a better understanding of phenomena which dictate the macroscopic behavior of structural alloys.
